A Cool Disovery

I came across a Korean torrent site on Bing today with portable versions of DS1 & DS2, along with the Ultima 6 mod, Ultima 5 mod, Copperhead mod, DS1 Zhixalom's Inventory mod, DS1 Legendary Mod and DS2 Big Inventory mod (biginven.ds2res) all packaged together. http://dakdown.net/bbs/board.php?bo_table=game&wr_id=4522&page=16 I don't know, I just thought it was pretty neat, the portable DS1 and DS2 games are in English though along with the mods. The Magnet link is somewhere at the bottom of the page if you wanna check it out. It's interesting how they got the games to a portable state really

There are no peers for the torrent so it might take a year or two to download. Second according to the posts, some of the mods do not come with the readme files that where in the original package for some of the mods.
If there where peers and the torrent was seeded I would download it just to verify if they where valid versions of the games and the mods. As it is I guess I will have to speak to the site admin about getting a faster link to the files.

Yes it is interesting but be careful of viruses, torrents can be a great place to pick them up.

It's also interesting to see the Legendary Mod included in the torrent but of course it's the Beta14 version.

As for making them portable, I'm pretty sure that the games will run from a copied folder and don't require installations as many games work like that but of course I may be wrong.

If you're interested in torrents here's one with a lot of DS1 mods though you need to be lucky with the seeds.

It's definitely interesting, I wanna check it out as well, perhaps eMule might speed up the download. :P

lol I'm pretty good with torrents, and I've got such good security over my computer Smile I never let a bugger into my system lol. Anyway, wow, that is quite a collection. I'm gonna check that out as well, I have a natural luck with torrents and seeds, plus eMule helps a bit and I've got great internet :P
