Mod Ideas

I don't think this fits into Mod Development, as it isn't really a mod being developed to my knowledge, or much less by me (though I could potentially contribute some bits and pieces).

|x| Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony Items |x| ToAI
Basically, in this mod, the items from the portable game would be recreated in Dungeon Siege II/Dungeon Siege II: Broken World. I'd love to see this as it'd potentially add a lot to the game, at least to collect, and could make it all the more exciting finding new items. Obviously this would take a lot of work and studying, as you should get the stats down (assuming they'd be balanced in these games, if they aren't, balance them out!) and in some cases, the lore behind the items.

This mod has been very close to becoming into full existence, but as far as I know hasn't ever actually been completed in a single mod/compilation. In this mod, you'd be able to play, as it says, all of the races in the Dungeon Siege Franchise; Dryads, Elves, Half-Giants, Utraeans, Humans, Dwarves, and Skeletons. This might include the Cinbri, but obviously this would be a complete original and would take a lot of work remodeling every single bit of armor, and ideally, making it compatible with other mods. Not to mention, I think it'd be cool to give the Cinbri his/her/its own campaign so as to explain why on earth it's on Aranna or whatever the world of Dungeon Siege is called.

It sounds like a cool idea, but I haven't really played the game, and the game can barely be emulated on a PC. I'd rather see the entire game remade to be playable on DS2 than the items that are rarely heard of, then again I'm badly inexperienced with DS2 coding so I wouldn't be the one lol. Perhaps sometime in the future it'll strike someone's mind

Well, I was planning on saying world, however this would require a LOT of reimagining, as you explore the world in a similar fashion to a Final Fantasy; you walk around on a world map and enter certain places via it. I have played an emulated version, and I do have an admittedly hacked PSP Go with it on. Besides, it could introduce some people to ToA, as it doesn't seem to be a very well known Dungeon Siege title (which is most likely because it didn't have that much support).

Also, to add on the topic of 'reimagining', you'd also have to reimagine the armor slightly (certain characters only wear one shoulder pad because in their universe, the Half-Giants/Agallans have a rune on their arm), which, yes, would take quite a bit of work, but I think it'd be really cool to see an extended universe recognized in the game it's based upon. If at all possible, I would suggest getting your (the reader) hands on it. While it isn't actually considered a canon story, it is a good Action RPG on the PSP. I'm a reviewer, so if you want to know my honest opinion, a link will just be under this 'paragraph'.

Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony Review


You've got some pretty good English man, that's not a bad review. I plan on (someday) getting a PSP and hacking it of course mainly for the reason of playing Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony as well as other game images, that's the way I run my consoles, with the quirk of technological advantages :P As far as making a revised Throne of Agony game goes, I can already tell that it would be one hell of a nightmare to code properly for DS2, as of anything from Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony would most likely have to be reimagined entirely..I imagine that ToA doesn't run on Skrit or Gas files lol

Ideas:
1: Crafting (or something like that) in Diablo 1 belzebub mod, crafting exists. (and basic game it should not)
2: New items for high lvl characters
