Where am I in the real world

Since there have been no posts in the original forum topic Where Am I for over a year how about a game of Where Am I in the Real world. It is really simple.

You name a town, village, city somewhere on the planet earth and the person who can discover the country posts the next question once the previous poster tells you you're correct.

I will start it off with
The village of Fangaua it is located on what island in what country.

Good Luck

Elf

Is google cheating here?

Well, Fangaua is a village in Tuvalu. Apparently it is the place to be when you are on the island of Nukulaelae.

My question: if you were my ex you would be from Carndonagh.

Yes Kathy you are correct and if you where not a world traveler then Google or Wikipedia would be the only way to discover it.

I guess your ex could be from Carndonagh if he/she where Irish. Was your ex's name ENDA McLAUGHLIN? She is now dead so you are safe.

Elf

No, I never met Enda Mclaughlin. Seems like a troubled person.

XD XD XD This is hilarious

I really wish I could've joined in on the "Where Am I?" game you guys were playing with Dungeon Siege maps, that seems awesome, though I never played too many 3rd party maps. Anyway I come from a place where the women glow and the men plunder :P

Drake, I hear no thunder. You come from a place wherein might be found the most lonesome, morbid and drear situation on earth (according to your fellow countrymen).

Elf, will it make you happy if I go answer your old DS WHERE AM I?

Down under what? Do you mean some location in the southern hemisphere that is part of Oceania? Like maybe Aotearoa, which is "Land of the long white cloud". Or maybe the continent of Oz. I would guess Oz, which as you know if you are from there is what the first three letters of the real name place sounds like.

Elf

If true there are a few of you Ozians here! Just a question if gravity pulls people in the Northern hemisphere down how come you all do not fall off since you are down under. I know the reason because I have been there more than once. I would go back if I could and spend half the year in Oz during football season yelling for Cats and Magpies. The remainder of the year in Aotearoa visiting relatives who play with the All Blacks and dancing the Haka. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bISVUxMYASo

Ah, but I have a specific situation in mind (geographically vague/variable/generic, but specific in another way).

Elf you would like to spend half your year in or within driving distance (Geelong) of Melbourne (Victoria). (OK, so I googled for that.) Are you allowed to support BOTH teams or is that an admission that could get you "aus"-tracised? The other half in New Zealand but you haven't narrowed it down any closer than that except possibly a preference for the North Island.

It's from a song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfR9iY5y94s Land Down Under, it was written about Australia :P

Good old Google finds the lyrics on multiple sites.

Yep Smile
