Extreme Makeover: Kingdom of Ehb edition

I don't know why some of the scraggy faces in Dungeon Siege bother me so much, it doesn't affect game play in the least, and really, how often are you zoomed in to get a good look at the characters? I guess it was one of those little things that kept picking at me. So, gradually I compiled some faces over the last months (and years) and here they are. Remember, I am not an artist! Shock

I know this blog entry isn\'t about Dungeon Siege, and thus of limited interest, but I thought this was so funny. For some reason, the more silly something is, the more appealing it is to me. And well, this is pretty silly... Laughing out loud

Lord of the Rings online is having an anniversary celebration, with various ways to collect different types of tokens. The tokens are used to barter for different items, such as a mount, some gear that can be cosmetically equipped and other various toys.

Yes, well. Indeed.

So I got to thinking about bell bottoms and other assorted fashions a few days ago after reading the comments regarding my Jerry Seinfeld/John Travolta farmboy skin blog. I searched on the web for some photos just to see if I could find pics that were as bad as the stuff on TV when I watch my 70s cop show reruns. And well, yup. Pretty hideous. Therefore I love it! I'm weird and contrary that way. Smile

For the last 5 or 6 weeks we've been having some difficulties with our television cable and internet. We almost always watch programs after they've aired with Comcast's "OnDemand" service which has been cutting out in the middle of programs (missed 45 minutes of Doctor Who that way...*grumpy face*) or even better, the service simply wasn't available.

What hurt much more was not having internet service for hours at a time, or being disconnected right in the middle of something. Over the last several days this has gotten worse so we didn't have any service at all. Le sigh.
