A Game of WHERE AM I

I was sitting here wondering just how many people who visit the site have played Dungeon Siege, Dungeon Siege Legends of Aranna, Dungeon Siege 2 and Broken World and just how many maps they have played in each version of the game. I know I could ask the question in a poll, but decided this might be more fun.

This is a game we used to play on Herena_Forge and a few other sites years ago.

The rules are simple I will post a screen shot.
Then you will tell me:
1. Which Game (DS1, LoA DSII or Broken World)
2. Which Map I am playing.
3. The location on the map that the screen shot was taken.

The person that gets the right answer will post the next screen shot and so on.

So here is the first Where Am I Screen Shot

Shopping mods is for grrlz. How would us guys know about those?

That's just crazy talk. EVERYBODY loves shopping mods.

EVERYBODY

Come on people the answer to the question of what map this is not very hard. Please someone guess before both Kathy and I are frozen in place in the middle of the village.

Elf

It's true Lili, I am feeling a bit chilly. BTW, Here's a postcard.

insert mapnamehere:
"You'll come for the shopping, but you'll stay for the pillaging!"

.
.
Don't forget you can warm your chilled bones (not to mention roast marshmallows) over the corpses of those lava monsters. Yay!

I am at a complete loss as to the map. Even with the clues.

Here is a hint that may help, Look in my blog entry called "Mods the Elf found" you might find a description that fits. However in the time between then and now I think I will go roast a Marshmallow or two.

A bit over cooked Mr. Lava Beast!!

Giggle giggle Elf

Note: the marshmallow staff is not a real weapon it is just a bit of image editing.

...even though I said so, I just fail to understand the clues given me sometimes.

Chilltown was the shoppers paradise.

Your a winner PhoeniX

Your turn to post an image.

Dead Dragons that is. Have to retreat to see this one.

Well I would guess the map is Dungeon Siege II because that looks like the Dragon we fought many times with Eva during The Siege of Snowbrook Haven. The picture however looks just a bit odd so I may be wrong.
So I think we will take a trip to Greilyn Beach and have a picnic.

The Dragon is not Talon, but if you look around while you eat you may spot the corpse.

Well you could be implying two things either this poor dragon passed away from food poisoning at some inn in one of the towns. However I think you are referring to fact that I was planning a picnic on Greilyn Beach. The fencing looks like that that goes up the hill from Greilyn Beach to the Temple so this dragon either died when he misjudged his transport drop and hit a hill, or he was snuffed by a certain elf as we ran past trying to catchup to the nut cases attacking the temple.

Elf

The dragon is in a cubby hole just before you destroy the second Bracken pod on Greilyn Beach.

Next round goes to Elf

What map next! Where do I go this time!

Elf

Anyone got snow shoes?

The name of the male character might give you a clue. We need to find 7 valuable stones to open a bridge is clue 2.

Elf

The quest in this map says find Princess Hilda De Polaris at the Castle and get the ring from her finger.
However you will have to fight her for days without Epee de Balmung and if I am reading the french text correctly you need the 7 Sapphires and Princess Hilda De Polaris' ring to create the sword.

After letting the game fight the princess while I went grocery shopping and did laundry. The Princess is still quite well, even if she has decided the Guard is the one to attack.

One of the places that a Sapphire is found.

Someone please guess this map, my arm is getting tired from attacking Hilda!

The Kingdom of Asgard, DS1.

You are correct PhoeniX

My choices are limited because of vista, but here is the next one. Smile

My guess would be as follows:
The Game is DS2
The Map is the Utraean Peninsula
You are between Fallraen and Meren in the Glacial Caverns. You made a right turn off the main trail and are hunting for loot in one of the three shrines. (Looks as if it is the third one because of all the completed bridges).

But you are on the right track. Smile

I think all the ice caverns look the same.

It is still DS2
However the Map is Kingdom of Ehb
The location is between Glacern and Jeriah's Cabin (Those frozen Caverns!!)

You Are Here

Ehb is the correct map. Smile

Have a guess at this one.

Here are pictures and a comment that may help. If I attempt to translate the conversations into English from the language it is written in, the language translation programs give me mathematical equations and not a true translation.
The next picture looks like Kingdom of Ehb but is not.

Skellies, furies, and Goms running about here.

I think this is the "Training of the Hero" map.

As you can see the language is not French, so Training the hero is out.

well there goses my idea!

All of the Psychogun maps that I have are in English, including "Training". He apparently had someone on siege network translate them. Some of the conversations are funny, as the English translation is a little off.

Kathy Kathy Kathy, do you have psychogun's Asgard map in English? If you do would you be so kind as to email it to me?

Elf

Hmm, I am not sure about that one. All of the mods I have are on my laptop. I will have to get the man to help me dig it out. Will do my best!
