Hair mod

I need an hair textures mod, if anyone has got such a mod I'd really like to get my grubby little mitts on it, I'll post a thankyou beforehand just in case someone has one or more of them. Smile Smile

That's a novel way you've got going there of putting a smiley in your posts. Wink Wink

Hi
There are several mods that add additional hair colors in the download area. Smile
Elf

I *might* have maybe 1 or 2 textures laying around...

I have an old mod that I've attached here. It adds a few new hair and face textures, plus starting shirts for Farmgirl. As I say, it's old, but you could give it a try. I haven't used it for a while.

I am working on another Farmgirl mod and I haven't put together a mod for Farmboy just yet. Oh and yes, I do have some less flamboyant hair colors. Wink

Hair - woman

Hair - man

Well done Kathy, its much appreciated.
The ponytail gang are currently getting a knighthood or whatever its called from the king, and they're also fending off his amorous advances as well, the bloody pervert.
Oooooh, I'd better get Suki out of there or she'll be going into Rambo mode again.

Hey Kathy, I wouldn't mind having a go with that new farmgirl mod of yours as well when you've finished it, it's looking good and some of the girls could do with a new face as well. Big smile

Moros, I found a later edition of the Farmgirl hair and skins mod. It's from 2016 instead of 2012 or 2013 like the first one. I think I just added a few more hair selections and a new face or two. It is attached if you would like to check it out.

The King is a pervert, you say? Have you noticed that he never leaves his cell, even after you free him? It's pretty plush as far as cells go, but geez. I would think he would want to move back to his own quarters as soon as possible. What is he getting up to in that cell???! Shock

Insane

I noticed that about the king as well Kathy, he must be as thick as a plank. Laughing out loud
Farmgirl skins v2 has been downloaded, there were a few gas files missing so I added them in, hope you don't mind. The ponytail gang are on the last leg of their journey, its a shame that Gom doesn't know that he's going to be on his last legs when he meets them.
All in all this game has been played with hardly any modifications, Zhixaloms inventory mod plus an upgraded version of the melisandre mod and that's it, it's been lacking some mods to brighten things up a bit that's why I need an hair mod as the one's that come with the game are a bit naff.
After their hair is done it'll be time to look at those awful armor textures, there are a few that are ok but most of them I've come across has me looking for the sick bucket.

The Ponytail Gang in order of appearance.
Suki melee (Farmlands)
Ulora melee (Crypts)
Melisandre melee (Stonebridge)
Naidi archer (Stonebridge)
Phaedriel archer (Traveler camp)
Kirani nature mage (Bonepickers beach)

Yes his cell is plush as cells go and he has clean clothes to wear, However I think there is a sinister reason he has not gone back to his palace!

I think the King has been munching on some of the smaller monsters. First clue his girth. Wink Second take a good look at his mouth, I think that is blood and not lipstick. Tongue

Okay, I think I missed something. Which Siegelet is this one..?
Or am I way off?

Dragons, Seck, wrath archers, Stars in an enclosed space, A stone, that belongs to a Legion. A living weapon. Do you know what Siegelet we are in now?

Elf

ChickenGeorge, bare elf is teasing you. We are talking about the original Dungeon Siege campaign, Kingdom of Ehb. The King never wants to leave his cell, even after you free him. I mean, I realize he can't actually leave or anything but it makes me wonder what he is getting up to. Smile

Oh, no I don't mind at all. I'm sorry that I didn't test it for you. It is several years old and these days Dungeon Siege is being a bit "naff". (I only heard of naff a few weeks ago. I think it's cool but I probably used it in the wrong context here).

I would suggest a camera mod as well, there are a few available for download here.

Were you meaning to include screenshots of the Ponytail Girls? Well, I agree, many of the armor textures are really blah and a few of the models make some of those textures look horrible. I think Type 3 and Type 9 are the worst offenders. They smoosh the female character's chest in a very unflattering way and make them look like football players. Football of the American variety, that is. Wink

If you downloaded the mod that I made for Rahtael, I included 2 meshes that DDllulu and ghastely made that I think are way more flattering for women. Those meshes plus the "Little Red Riding Hood" robe model that ghastely made are also in the CutieGirl Revived v2 as well. If you wish to download cutiegirl, look for version 2 that is in the regular Dungeon Siege download section. cutiegirl runs with LoA, but the version in the LoA download section is the old version.

I attached a small mod I made a few years ago. It features some colorful helms and stuff.

Bare Elf has made some armor mods, her "girl armor" mod made me want to learn how to mod. Check out the download area. I've made some armor mods also, but all my things that I am working on are reminiscent of Schrödinger's Cat thingy; they could be completed OR maybe not... *grin*

Oops, forgot to post this

I was not kidding all of the clues I gave for the game where real! The Stone of the 10th Legion, The Chamber of Stars, The Seck, Dragons in the fort, The living weapon. Unless you are referring to the King having blood on his lips. That was a little bit of poetic license. So next time you are there look at his lips and see what you think.

Elf

I know your clues were real, elfy. Smile

I thought ChickenGeorge might not remember much of Kingdom of Ehb since he stated that he almost exclusively plays Ultima vs Lazarus. Of course I'm probably wrong about the whole thing, it's doubtful that CG's memory could be worse than mine. Wink

It's been quite awhile since I've played though the entire original Dungeon Siege story as I get sidetracked by one thing or another and barely make it to the Swamp before I'm off doing some modding or whatever. I don't remember who/what the living weapon was in the Kingdom of Ehb campaign. It's almost like... I don't have a clue! ahahaha omg I am just so flarping witty!

Say, is there bbcode for sarcasm? [sarcasm]so flarping witty![/sarcasm] Well, crap, I guess there isn't. Tongue Insane

Oh. Yes I've never played Kingdom of Ehb all the way through.
I played LOA all the way through, but I don't like that it starts in a town.
I like how the other starts on a bridge.
Keep meaning to play it.
Sorry for the confusion.
It's not a siegelet, it's the real deal.

I hope I did not confuse you, by saying it was a Siegelet, I have over the years collected many versions of Kingdom of Ehb. I also play it with my custom copy of Cat Mansion Adepts and a few dozen mods so to me it is both the real thing and a Siegelet.

You should play it all the way trough some time. You could even play it in DS2 using the legendary mod because it is quite a bit different than the DS1 Version.

King in cell - tick.
Seck - tick.
Wraith archers - tick.
Chamber of Stars - tick.
Dragons - tick, but in the fort? - er, isn't that Psychogun's Training of the Hero?
Stone of the 10th Legion - what is that?
The living weapon - ditto. [EDIT - I'd stretch a point to accept the RoboSuit as a weapon, but "living"? - no way]

Fortress Kroth not only has a problem with Gresh the Seck Necromancer and his minions, but if you listen closely the solders in the fort will tell you about a dragon problem, they where having until Gresh showed up. The imps you encounter on the way to defeat the GOM, reappear in Legends of Aranna after you have gone down the lift where you place the town stones. These imps are an upgrade of the ones in Kingdom of Ehb, but their creation story and who made them are the same. I do believe you learn about the stone of the 10 legion near where you discover Kikra the imprisoned mage. Again you do not discover its use until the end of Legends of Aranna. Remember to listen and read - do not just kill.

Shocked

Well, I'm glad it isn't just me! Smile

I don't remember townstones in Legends of Aranna. As I recall, the stones were part of the story line of the Utraen Pennisula multi player campaign, as well as the major questline in the single player adaptation Legends of Utrae.

Fortress Kroth - I remember encountering Sikra the mage who is being imprisoned in the Hall of Skulls, just outside and below the fortress and she has a lore book with information about the Dragon of Rathe. Not sure who Kikra is, apparently another imprisoned mage? Is she the lady from the Mage's Guild alchemist shop in Arhok? I thought her name was Kira something.

I never liked her, btw, her voice and face got on my nerves. I get cranky about some odd stuff. If I recall correctly, that one voice actress did about all of the voice acting in the game.

I wish my multiplayer was working, I would like to refresh my memory about Fortress Kroth and the surrounding area. I remember wandering around and finding a cave with a drake in it (in the stretch of land before the encounter with Gresh. Also take a look around the Clock Tower in Legends of Aranna and take the displacer back to Arhok; after taking care of the Shadow Jumper, that is.

For me, I almost always read questlines and listen to the NPC's stories and mutterings. After playing a couple MMOs, plus single player also I've learned it can be crucial to completing the quest. Plus it adds to the actual story line to read over the quest text. Of course those annoying "go talk to that person 3 feet from me and report back to me" as well as the "fetch me a shrubbery" quests don't offer much in the way of interesting plot.

Now I am confused... I must be twisting up things from Legends of Aranna, Legends of Utrae and Kingdom of Ehb. I will have to play all three again from start to finish. I thought I was not getting things confused but I must have been since you have all told me so.

No drake in that cave in the original game. Not in my copy. The cave is unoccupied, but not empty - it does have a good treasure chest. I've confirmed this first from a copious write-up I did at the time, and secondly just now with tank viewer. If I'm thinking of the right cave that is. For the Legendary Mod, iryan put a Bone Drake into it.

There is of course another cave further on, a more interesting one, if we explore to the side before entering the Droog village.

I was in despair last night. "De Pit of De Spear" that is. I finished it this morning. I played Utraean Peninsular original once (using Myros' mod) and Legendary Mod's version when beta testing, but never the Legends of Utraea version. So last few weeks, I've been remedying that omission.

kathycf wrote:

No? Ni! How about cutting down the tallest tree in the forest, then? (With a herring.)

Maybe I am thinking of the wrong cave or simply the wrong area. Well, this is going to bother me until I can get to that area and walk around. I could be thinking of some territory near Castle Ehb. Confusing memories are so annoying! Almost as annoying as passing ruffians saying Ni at will to old ladies. Tongue

I've only managed the Pit of Despair once, while playing Legends of Utrae. I think I got a headache 30 minutes in but I made it through somehow.

Did you ever check whether your Windows had been infected by (Trusteer) Rapport like mine was? Thank you Microsoft. I got rid of it so quick I cannot now test whether it messed up DS1 multiplayer but it looks to be exactly the type of thing that would.

I cheated on Pit of Despair by getting out the maps I'd made first time I played it. It may have been darker (up until the Ankh door) in original UP than in LoU, but LoU has enemies to get us turned round when fighting them so we forget where we'd come from and which way we were going, whereas the original did not.

You know GPG messed up, doing the mazes as what must be two regions? We leave the first region through a door needing three skulls, call that "A", and return from the overhead walkways through a doorway "B". On one side, the first one, B is southeast of A, but on the other side it is northwest!

Actually, no I haven't checked for that Trusteer thing. Thanks for mentioning it. I'm going to have to spend some time working the issue out. I've pretty much ignored the whole thing for a while, but I really do want multiplayer to work.

Argh, I did not know about the maze mess up. I get mixed up so easily in games it's weird, especially since I normally have a somewhat decent sense of direction. I usually skipped the Pit when playing regular multiplayer but LoU is so much better and the Pit has to be done.
