Importing Jungle Assets into Vanilla DS Siege Editor and DS1 Resources

Does anyone know how to go about the subject successfully? I know Xaa did this for Mageworld, because Mageworld was built compatible with Vanilla Dungeon Siege.

I tried extracting from the expansion's tank file into my bits folders, but whenever I click on the Jungle assets in the editor that show up, the editor crashes saying some error with nodes_misc.gas.

I can only assume that I also need to have the resources in my Resources folder of Dungeon Siege in addition to my Bits folder in order for it to not crash, but I'm not 100 percent sure. I can give this a shot when I get home today.

If I remember right, you’re gonna have to make your own resource file with the terrain pieces and mapping from DSLOA in there. I wanna say I did this a while back before I realized you could just make Expansion.dsres feed into siege editor with DSX mode or whatever it was called. Copy paste, copy paste. I could be wrong though, I’m kinda just thinking out loud.

Do you happen to know where nodes_misc.gas resides? I'm still getting this crash even though I have both a .dsres and the terrain files all in my Bits folder. That includes animations, meshes, and bitmap textures. I'm not sure what else I could be missing, but I imagine there's a reference .gas file somewhere that needs updating (most likely nodes_misc.gas)

About a nodes_misc.gas file I hardly can remember...
However, recheck once if all avaialble *.NNK files are inside the /art/ folder.

You nailed it. It was the second NNK file that resides with NamingKey101.NNK that I was missing. You saved me a lot of frustration.
