Haven't posted anything about Boll's Dungeon Siege movie, In The Name of the King,
in a while and I found two reviews of it by people who got to see it on a prescreening.

Quote:
This is a vast improvement for Boll and an entertaining choice for audiences.

Review: 'In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale'

Quote:
Now I need to be fair to this movie, it is actually entertaining, and superior to Boll’s previous efforts. The battle scenes are well executed and the fight choreography is great visual candy. On the whole the movie is a lot of fun, though a bit long (apparently there is a director’s cut which is an additional 45 minutes). The movie far exceeded my low expectations, and I have to admit I enjoyed it.

Dungeon Siege : In The Name of the King Movie Review

I'll be darned. The authors are not all fired up about the movie, but they do actually enjoy it!

The movie airs 11 January 2008 in the UK, US and Canada, for those who don't know.

Still keeping fingers and toes crossed hoping for a good movie. Sounds promising so far though. ^^

Happy to hear that it's not going to be a complete train wreck. Smile

Yeah, some of the passengers might survive this time. Laughing out loud

I hear it is going to stand rather well, despite Boll's previous films.
