So it has been written, and so it shall cometh to pass! Quothe The Darkelf, forevermore!

Very nice work as usual Darkelf and quite appropriate you making the Dark Elf race.

Another thought that comes to mind is the Sea Elves. According to the excellent history of Dungeon Siege compiled by LoneKinight, Sea Elves were the original inhabitants of both the Utraean Isles and Greilyn before being wiped out by the Utraeans. Perhaps Dark Elves could be the descendants of the Sea Elves who were forced underground or something to escape their reported demise. Just an idea.

Being the big idea guy.. I like Iryan's suggestion. Either the dark elf could be descended from sea elves, or there could be an entire sea elf race, with a description as to why they are back, of course. Either way, if you add Dark Elves, Add some lore of the Sea elves!

Is this just a new skin for the head of elfs or is it about placing Witness DS1 elves into DS2?

In any case interesting bit of lore I did not know about. Sea elves suggest that they where sea faring, as such I doubt they went extinct, I guess they just moved somewhere else. That opens up a possibility for them to return from some placed not reached by the Utraeans.

In any case, I assume that darkelves, if desendents from elves driven underground by the utraeans would harbour a deep hatread for Utraeans. The Utraeans really managed to piss of two of their slave races in the LoA so it would make sense. Imagine utraeans trying to set up new colonies after the events in LoA, just to have them assaulted from some unkown enemy comming up from below.

it just another of my many failed attempts at modding, making the skin was easy then i realized that i would have to skin 8 variations of each armor, and decided it would not be worth it.
