Broken world is lagging and the mouse pointer is flickering

As the title says, I'm having some issues with BW. So far, I've tried running the game in compatibility mode (XP SP 2 and SP 3), running as admin, but none of these solved my problem. The only special thing I do to play the game is to use the AllSaves mod, that allowed me to bring my DS 2 hero to BW. Does anyone have any clue on what's going on?

lmonteiro it would help if you could could tell us what version of Windows you are using. What your computer configuration is including your video card and version of its driver, What version of Dungeon Siege 2 and Broken World you are using. Is Dungeon Siege 2 the retail version or the Steam version. There are a large number of posts about this problem but it would be difficult to direct you to a solution without more detail.

Hello, and thank you for the welcome haha

I'm using the retail version of Dungeon Siege 2, BW is version 2.30.

Here you are, my specs:
- Windows 7 x64;
- i5-3320M @ 2.60 GHz, up to 3.3 GHz;
- 4 GB ram;
- I'm using an onboard graphic card, Intel HD Graphics 4000 and I don't have an offboard one
The driver's version is 8.15.10.2712

I looked for a solution all over the internet, but all posts that I found ended up with something like "I give up, it seems like that this problem has no solution at all," but then I heard about you guys, the ones who can take care of anything when it Dungeon Siege haha

At first, I was playing Dungeon Siege 2 without BK, but then I decided to install BK. Without it, the game ran flawlessly.

I would guess that if you are running Broken World your Dungeon Siege game has been patched to Version 2.2 if it is not that could be part of the problem. I will have to see what I can discover about the Intel HD Graphics 4000 on board chip set. You may also have to update your system_detail gas file if it does not include your video card. You can try this by going to the Project Site Dungeon Siege II - Outpost link found on left side of main page. Then look in the Mods section for Graphic Card Ident List. Follow the directions carefully.
