Error message

Mixing mods

Can anybody mix these 3 mods?

Adepts
V-mod
Revived

Adepts and Revived works fine with eachother but... V-mod doesnt work neither of them... If you open V-mod with adepts you get a fatal error, if you open v-mod with revived some features doesnt work. And they all are good mods! And i guess they all are working in LoA yet you need to use a diffrent version of revived.

I would be grateful to anyone can do it <3

Some mods can be mixed but some can not, the reason is that some mods change the same things. For example both Adepts and V-mod change the way that characters are created so they can not be made to work together, that is why you get the fatal error. The reason that V-and revived prevent some features from working is because they both modify those same features. If you read the read me file contained in both Adepts and Revived they will tell you this.

Therefore it can be said that some mods will work together and others will not. For example Adepts, Adepts_Cat-Glasses_v1, Legends of Utrae, Girl Armor all work together, but that is because iryan created both Adepts and Legends of Utrae, Adepts_Cat-Glasses was designed to work with the Cat Mansion Adepts heads, And I designed Girl Armor to work specifically to work with the cat mansion girls and boys. Their mesh is different than the standard DS1 Farm Girl and Farm Boy. Therefore Adepts_Cat-Glasses_v1 and Girl Armor will not work unless Adepts is also active.

You have to experiment with mods to see which will work together and which will not. If you have the read me files look at them to see what the mod changes if you find two or more mods that change the same things then you can be pretty much assured that they will not work together.

Yeah i understand they are changing the same part of the game :3 I asked for maybe someone can eliminate one of the common part of these mods so it can work with others. I mean they are not changing the same feature in a totally different way right? There is little differences.

Lets say V-mod doing these changes A-B-C-S-D
And Revived doing: E-R-T-S-X

cant we eliminate one of the S feature to force them work with each other?

Actually i solved my problem with tearing V-Mod apart :P it was a pack of mods at the end of the day. I took everything i want from different mods and bring them together except a few things. Now i have a bigger problem :/ kinda bigger... My item information boxes (which pops up when you hover over an item in your backpack) are broken-buggy. Information text and the black box itself isn't on top of the other. The text is always appearing over the item an box is always appearing in the middle of inventory. And it's about revived mod. I've learnt that something wrong about ikkyo_loa.dsdll. Found someone had experienced the same thing in 2008 and ikkyo answered him that "This means you don't have the dsdll installed correctly". And btw i removed all other mods and its still the same.

I figured that out. Adept disabling ikkyo.dsdll :/ or something like that... i dont wanna choose between adept and revived T.T i want them both

And also Elys Succubus mod is disabling ikkyo_loa.dsdll and makes the same bug...

Elys Succubus mod has no problem with Revived! Only problem is BufUI_v2.00 mod. And because of it is in the adept mode itself it also breaks the ikkyo_loa.dsdll. So There is only one thing needs to be done and it's removing BufUI_v2.00 from adept mode! Can anyone do it? I will step in mod making but only after finishing game 1 time. so... help please?

Now Adepts and the DS1 Elys Succubus mod should never work together because the both modify how the primary character is created. If you say you fixed this I would be interested in knowing what you did and to which mod.

Elys Succubus mod didn't have a problem with Adepts at the first place. At least there wasn't any fatal error or data exception or something like that. I'm not a mod maker sadly :/ i'm just a kid playing with his toy (and getting help from a few tools :3 ) But my problem was something was disabling or breaking ikkyo.dsdll . I figured out that it was Buf_ui2.0 from "Lokiswaq" and Adepts also has that mod in. So by using Tank viewer, i extract everything from buf_ui and adepts then i removed every buf_ui file from adepts. Then using tank creator create a new dsres file to use for myself. Now Ai is working as intended (monsters are smart and regenerating healt) Elys Succubus is also working (im playing a succubus) Revived working (there is a gargoyle option while creating a character) and im also using bunch of other little mods. Maybe some features of some mods overwriting eachother but i didn't relized anything wrong an im just at the starting chapter. Yesterday i've cleared my first cellar and that old guy gave me his healt and mana potions. I didn't wanted to take them but... I had no choice!

And btw game is still way too easy because of that Elys Succubus mod's difficulty feature T.T why did he/she removed the hard and easy mod...
