Kalrathia-Craft

Can anyone send me a copy of their DS2 party (Preferrably not Adepts as I don't play that, but if that's all you got I'll still take it) who has access to Kalrathia? I want to rebuild it in Minecraft and none of my characters are in it right now.
Last time I re-overhauled my laptop I forgot to save backups of my saves, so... Yeah, that's why I need someone else's copy.
I would download adepts and play through until I'm released as a prisoner, then go to Kalrathia myself but.. myeehh.

I assume you don't have Broken World as otherwise you could use one of the premade characters from the expansion pack to travel anywhere within DS2.

An alternative to a copy of somebody's party is to use a simple mod to set the default starting point in DS2 to Kalrathia and then start a new game. If you don't know how to do this or don't find other help by tomorrow I'll send you such a mod. It's how I jump around the maps in the Legendary Mod to test or check things out.

I do have Broken World, I hadn't thought about the presaved characters actually. Thank you for reminding me!

From a screen-shot made in SE2 (north on the right side):

Actually there is a 'prefab' with the pre-fabricated town of Kalrathia within the SE2 files,
unsure however if it may be of any use for your endeavour.

Kalrathia-Craft...
Craftrathia?

In any case, here's a picture of the most completed corner of the city so far. It's ugly, (Not as much as the rest, which is literally only the framework all in the same uniform sandy color) but once I finish the basic structure I'll be detailing and breaking up the texture of the wall.

This presents a problem though. In Dungeon Siege 2, the walls are all sandstone bricks, ALL sandstone bricks. But in Minecraft, that looks terrible. The only reason it looks remotely good is because it has a fairly interesting shape. So I'm thinking I'll have some oak logs and planks placed here and there in the wall just to break it up and texture it a bit. Might not be as true to Dungeon Siege, but I'm a bit more concerned with having it adjusted for play in Minecraft anyway.

Answer me this- can you immediately tell what corner of Kalrathia that is without having to think too awful hard? Might not be TOO easy to identify sections of the place right now until more detail is in there, but still I want to ask.

EDIT: Picture won't upload, so here's a link to a screenshot of it.

And if you can't see that, here's another.

Raymus your Kalrathia for minecraft looks exceptionally slick. Very nice work.

No problem to refind/remember the corner you look at.
...and I specially like that you reproduced the palms! Wink
