Looks like I will be making the first blog post. It dawned on me a while ago that I have never released any of the (few) mods that I have made in the past. And now that I finally uploaded one that I have made.. it is a cheat. ^_^ I've never had the time to learn much about modding so it was somewhat of a surprise how easy making mods that aren't maps really is. As long as it isn't template work of course. :P I've done some of that in the past for DS1 when I made some new creatures and items. I worked on a map called shadowlands that I never finished.. :/ But I distinctly remember how much fun it was. Hopefully I can get back into modding when this site is getting more finished. On that note.. I started adding some guides to the tutorial section and also started uploading some mods. But there is still tons to do.. *sigh* Nivisec gave me permission to host his guides on siegetheday and marcos has uploaded his instructional videos on modding so hopefully more people will start modding as well. I just have to add the stuff so it is visible. Exciting exciting. blogs: |

That is wonderful news, sol. I think that will make the guides and other materials (which are great resources) more accessible to the community. Thnnks. Who knows, maybe I can try my hand at the technical side of modding and not just the ideas part. I didn't see your mod in the download section, am I just missing something?

Yea.. I didn't follow my own instructions for uploading mods so only the project appeared but not the release, forgot the version number.
The mod is called "party of 6".
I think I should do same mod btw I never mod before so I am a noob.
BTW sol I really like what you did to the site. all you work sure paid off cuz I love it
Thanks man, I'm glad you like it.
Once I'm done with this Artificial Intelligence class I'm gonna get back into modding.
Trying to collect and write some tutorials so we can get some new modders to the community.
I just have to get us a new shoutbox first. ^_^
Indeed, I miss the shoutbox. I think I will have to make a mod, for sure.:)
