Swollen hands

Well, yesterday was a snowday. We had a very big storm and got dumped with a lot of heavy wet snow. Super! *rolls eyes*

So, my neighbor has a snowblower and blows his snow into my yard. Lovely, and it isn't as if we haven't discussed this issue with him before. It is simply arrogance on his part. By the time I got up this morning he had already done it, so I am going to wait and complain about this tomorrow, when my blood stops boiling.

Speaking of blood...I had to force the cellar door open to get outside, there was so much snow lodged against it. The snow had a heavy crust of ice on top of it and I had to smack it with the shovel to break it up. Then I had to shovel it away in layers, because it was up to my knees and too difficult to shovel away in one fell swoop. It took me half and hour to shovel a narrow path from my cellar door to my driveway and I had to stop...it was just too much.

The man of the house has a very bad back and I didn't want him to collapse out there trying to deal with the snow, so I think I will call somebody to plow us out. So, I go back inside and sit down for a minute to relax, and my hands start swelling up! It was so weird! Apparently one can develop edema in the extremities after vigorous exercise, especially if one is a dope who doesn't do a warmup or cooldown before engaging in such activity. Doh! I took a shower and went to bed, got up a while ago, hands somewhat better. The thing that gets me is the neighbor knows I am semi-handicapped, but does he offer to snowblow the driveway?! Nope, he just feels free to blow snow in my yard... Sad

This is a little picture of my eyes that I made before going outside earlier. It is my procrastination picture, of what I would look like if I was a vampire or something. Right about now, I wish I was!

I'd invite that vampire into my home any night. Wink

Oh, and your neighbor is a jerk. But I think you should ask him to help since he blew his snow into you yard. It is only fair that he help you out. I just hope he agrees with that..

Heh, thanks sol. I might just ask him to help. He is on the city council as a neighborhood representative, so maybe I will threaten to tell the city council what a meanie he is if he doesn't. Laughing out loud Wink

1: Call Acme
2: Order 6 tons of snow
3: Have it airdropped in his front yard
4: Sit back and watch him try to snowblow *that*

While that is a comical way to get revenge, a better way would be to simply talk to him and show him your hands. He might get rid of it to avoid a lawsuit. Wink
