Where to find/host DS2 modifications.

Good to see the return of seigetheday. I'm sure most modders are waiting for the release of the toolset for the game but I've noticed that a few good mods already made it out onto the web. I wondered if it might be a good idea to start a "unified" list of available mods and host sites to help people navigate? Also wanted to check the rules of the community netiquette first since linking to informally released mods (attached files in forums for example) can cause unexpected problems. And modding is problematic enough as it is.

That sounds like a great idea.

It can be a sticky for now but maybe we'll do something more with it later on.

If people know the location of a good mod or site with mods post it here and I or Strider will post them in a sticky.

Here are four sites where DS2 mods can be found...

Siege Mods was the biggest source for DS2 mods when it was up. Sadly we have been told it will not be back.
*snipped URL*

An old static list (seems to be a bunch mirrored from Siege-Mods):
http://www.lancersreactor.com/t/download/default.asp?game=Dungeon%20Siege%202

Guru's (mostly cheater type stuff the last time I checked...):
http://www.gametoast.com/ds2/

HF has a few mods hosted too...
http://herenaforge.org/tiki-index.php?page=Main

I also understand that DSH has a new (but empty, the last time I checked) download section if you want to host your mods there...
http://ds.heavengames.com/

Cheat Happens also features some DS2 mods.

Omni (aka Omicrom), a member of the Amazon Basin, has posted a number of mods in their forums.
http://www.theamazonbasin.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=7935
Direct link to his download site: http://home.pacbell.net/omicrom/mods/ds2/

should probibly remove www.siege-mods.com, site director posted in off-topic forum that the site isnt comming back:

Thanks for the reminder to update this topic... I've edited the list above. Sad

Maybe I should point out that you can get your mods hosted here as well.
There are a few already in the download section.

Okay, I have a friend who made a mini-siegelet. Will inform him of this.
