Too dark to see! |

Hi everyone. Running Windows 7 64-bit, and have a lighting problem: The first underground area of the game (under the house) is essentially too dark to see anything. This is a new installation of DS, and I've ran the video config and chosen my graphics card correctly from it. It's not a "Gamma" problem; aboveground areas are fine, and increasing gamma does indeed "brighten" the screen - From black to grey. That doesn't increase visibility of environmental objects, enemies etc. It's like the draw distance for underground areas is set to nearly zero. forums: |

Okay recently I started to play through the DS1 LOA campaign again and I remember how good most of the songs in LOA were. Ive been having trouble finding the DS1 LOA soundtrack {MP3 files of it} and its sorta ticking me off. So i was wondering if any of y'all might have an idea where i can find the soundtrack for LOA :). forums: |

DS 1.11 on Windows 8? |
||
| Submitted by LoneKnight on Wed, 2014-07-23 01:33 | ||
Hey guys, been a long time huh? I've recently wanted to get back into some wholesome DS1 fun, but it looks like my current OS is getting the better of me. I currently am running Windows 8.1 64-bit, and after installing DS1 with disk AND trying the Steam version that I also own, I can get the game to start with no issue. However, upon loading a map, I am met with an ugly looking mess of the textures. EDIT: Seems like I can't attach images? forums: |

transmute enemy mod |

some time ago there was a mod that allowed you to turn people into money, which made them drop all items they had. it was called the "transmute enemy" spell. recently I decided to use this mod for fun and maybe even use its code to try and make a similar spell for DS2. forums: |

Tank Creator will not compile on Windows 7 |
||
| Submitted by Stuff on Wed, 2014-04-09 20:24 | ||
Hi I can't get Tank Creator to compile things into a DRES. It's supposed to pop up a little black box and make the file appear but nada, clicking on the button does absolutely nothing. Yes I've tried compatibility modes and all that, never ever works for me as in this case the program still won't compile. Worked great on Windows XP but I don't have it anymore. If I can't find a solution I'd really love to know if someone would be willing to do the compiling? It's a pretty small mod it shouldn't be take to long to send in a .zip. forums: |
