Why are the Utraean's depicted as "good guy's" in DS1 LOA? |

I know that the Zaurask, Hassat and goblin's are helping the Shadowjumper and/or causing chaos but still why do they try to make you feel sorry for the Utraean's in most of the game. From what I learned in my many year's of game play and lore reading the Utraean's kinda caused everything in LOA. The Utraean's enslaved the Zaurask and Hassat, Did little Dr.Frankenstein experiment's in the hall's of the lost and they Consider themselves the master race in Aranna. I don't know what you guy's think but they sound pretty evil to me. |

Hyperborea |

Alright, Anyone know/have the popular mod 'Legends of Hyperborea' For Dungeon siege? Well, recently I got it and started playing. Problem is- what the hell do I do? I found the Dark elf partner you use to get out of 'the hole' and I'm around the point where you fight the massive group of skeletons surrounded around their lord. I beat them all, but.. What now? I did a quick Suicide-run around the map to clear up a path, and I find myself running in circles chased by HORDES of monsters! Where am I supposed to go? I do hope I'll get some help here. |

Archers are op, warriors suck early game then beat the hell out of everything, mages are meh. To begin with there is a very important mechanic: kiting. Kiting allows you to move out of the way of projectiles (very useful when retreating), run away from slow melee enemies, and is still useful when fighting fast ones, since they tend to have a fast attack speed, and you as a squishy wizard or godly archer can reduce the interval they can attack you in. |

Allysium Demo Question |

| Submitted by Aletys on Sun, 2007-07-29 10:17 | ||
I hope this is the right section to post this in. I decided to try the Allysium demo & play it as far as it went, but have run into a snag, & hope someone can give me a hint. I'm at the gate to leave Marafet, have the key, but am stumped on how to use it. Can't get the gate open. Can anyone help? Or is this the end of the demo? |

No CD drive |

Does anyone know how to run Dungeon Siege on a machine with no CD drive? I'd like to be able to host a game on one of my rackserver machines that has no floppy, no CD/DVD so that I can operate more characters in MP than I have desktops. The game installs OK, dxdiag confirms that the machine has the required video support, but the game won't start using the same networked drive that I installed from. My recollection of the Windows C/C++ functions available is that a network drive is distinct from a CD drive, even when it is one. Presumably this is to prevent someone from ejecting a single folder on a drive, when only partly mapped. |
