Kane's Summon Enemy Mod

Purpose:

• Let's you summon almost any monster in the game as an enemy.  The spells can be bought or found.  Note that all enemies are elite and many of the spells summon more than one.  Also note that summoning too many can create a lot of lag.

Notes:

• The target of your spell must be a friend, yourself or an enemy.  Does not work on terrain as do normal summons.
• There is no summon limit.  However, if you are controlling a summoned, you cannot summon an enemy.
• Keep in mind that both the number of summons and the amount of treasure on the ground contributes to lag.
• Be nice!  It's fun to be a bit of a Dungeon Master but overwhelming all the players can piss people off.

Installation & Usage:

• How do I install this?
  • Put the resource file (.dsres) file into your Dungeon Siege resources folder. 
  • This file is usually located at "c:\program files\microsoft games\dungeon siege\resources\"
• Do I have to host for this to work?
  • You must either host or the host must be using the same mod for all aspects of it to function properly.
  • This mod should not affect your ability to join other games.
• How do I uninstall?
  • Either remove this from your resources directory
  • or rename the extension from .dsres to .off
  • or go get a mod manager like Watersoul's located at Dungeon Siege 'Net Guide
• Will this conflict with other mods?
  • Probably not since it adds spells but does not change any templates.

• 5-06-03
  • 1.1 This is a beta release.  Feedback is fine but no bitching.
• 5-26-03
  • 1.2 Added a ton of monsters to the original beta.  Also changed the numbers on some of the previous spells.
  • Changed the icons.  The spells to not have a spell icon now.  Makes it easier to distinguish them when shopping.
  •  This is still a beta since there is a bit of cleaning up to do with descriptions and stuff... the spells work fine however.
• 5-27-03
  • Removed from beta.  Added the Holy Shit spell and cleaned up a few others.
• 6-3-03
  • 1.3 Cleaned up code, reduced file size.  Probably it for this one.  Added a spell called 'KaneES Drop All Spells".  If you find & cast this one, it will give you the rest of the enemy summons spells.

• If you are interested in mod making the folks in the forums of  SiegeNetwork and Game-Editing.net have been immensely helpful.
