Welcome all new and old members who i have yet to be acquainted with.

Good day everyone, you may remember me from ages past as "Cyberatog", and now many years later with both an ADHD and Aspergers diagnosis I am back. I hope that explains any issues I had at the time, and if I act like a jerk as a consequence of this just point it out. If I am being a jerk just generally, slap me across the face.

Anyway, good to be back. Been playing the first dungeon siege lately so I thought I'd check if the dungeon siege 1-2 community was still alive and I am glad to see it is.

Hello people, I haven't played Dungeon Siege seriously for a while, like when I was a kid or similar age and i barely spoke english then. Now i feel it would be a good time to come back and spice it up with some mods, and with friendly community would be quite fun thing to do.

Hi to all, I'm Pseudopode, a french player of the Dungeon Siege saga since its release.

Like many of you I absolutely love these games, but I must admit I have a preference for Dungeon Siege II.
I'm pleased to see there are other players still loving these games today, because they deserve it, even if many hack'n slash purists think they don't.

Some years ago I was webmaster of a website dedicated to retrogaming, helping people to make their games work on new systems.
I wrote many guides for emulators or games ports (DOSBox, VDMSound, EDuke32, Doomsday...) or articles about various subjects like improving music with DOS games, avoid stretching of the picture for letterboxed games with widescreen monitors...
I closed my website after some years but I'm thinking of reopening it, to keep on helping other players and promoting the work of other players. And if I'm enough courageous, I'll do it not only in french but also in english.

I've played Dungeon Siege for a while, but just got back into modding, and am relearning everything from the start. I made an account on here a while ago, but have just started using it again. That said, I might post some newbie questions about modding if I cannot find answers elsewhere.
Great to see that the Dungeon Siege Community is still (somewhat) alive and kicking!

Feel free to post as many questions/comments/thoughts as you like, that is what we are here for. Well, mostly. Some of us come for the coffee and doughnuts.

Been a DS fan for many a long year, but never joined a forum until now. I was perusing the discussions and saw a comment by someone to the effect that “no one plays DS1 anymore,” and I just had to make my voice heard…I do!!

Maybe not EVERY year, but I still do. There’s just no other game world that has won me over with its beauty and charm like the Kingdom of Ehb, and it keeps me coming back for my occasional “fix.”

I’ve also done a little modding over the years (although I’m not a coder, so my “modding” usually consists of taking a hammer to other people’s code and beating on it until it finally just gives up and does what I want, and stops generating error messages in DSLOAMod.)

I remember you. You live down the road from my farmhouse, in some sort of "man" cave (krug cave?) with your Krug bros. Whenever I come by, you're always in a grumpy mood and you and your bros gather round and cause a big ruckus.

There are a good number of people who still play and mod DS1 and LoA and I am one of those elves that does. Hope Kathy is wrong about you being Krug.

So I was back around to see if I could find some old friends around here, like Elys herself of course, or "Custer" or "SJR". Hi Demie been a long time indeed I have seen Elys on discord lately think she still plying the newer final fantasy I tried it for while got bored of killing critters I miss the vista u had quite a few posts there. Bet your kids are growing fast anyways just wanted to reply

I feel you with killing critters. There's always a super-long-and-boring phase in FF, the "now you need to level up doing very repetitive stuff". Yah, that's usually where I quit :P
Yes, my two daughters are growing. Both go to school. The elder is close to 10, younger turned 6. They play games too and love it a little too much and both already have "playing dice" too lol
