request for abstraction dsmap file

Hi all! Have been enjoying playing DS LOA on Windows 8 Consumer Preview (yes it works - perfectly - no issues at all). I have the abstraction dsres file - so most of the necessary hand armour is found in the shops - and the monster drops are also providing me with with decent hand armour - no matter what map I play - however...I cannot get the complete Hand Set - no matter how hard I try. I do not have the abstraction dsmap file (lost it when I reformatted my hard drive) so I cannot go to Crossroads on the abstraction map to fight the green Krug, who drop the Hand Set the most. The ONLY other map that drops the Hand Set is Legends of Utrae - with the zombie Zurask in the Ancient Crypts near Elddim - no other creatures drop the Hand Set - not even the Chickens in the "Secret" Level. However going through the Crypts over 87 times in a row (multiplayer) I have 8 helms, 4 Chest armour, 6 gloves - BUT NO HAND BOOTS!!! So very irritating. It would only take me 3-4 times at Crossroads on the Abstraction map to get the entire Hand Set. So if there is a kind soul who would be able to provide the abstraction dsmap file - I would be most appreciative and thankful. P.S - I would recommend all to try out DS1, 2 and 3 if you wish - on Windows 8 - I have had a very smooth experience so far. forums: |

I looked around for a link to the file but could not find any that where active. I will see if I have it on one of my computers.
Here is the last install version DSAbstraction_Siegelet_0.997.exe.
Looking at the separate files from the installer the map appears to be the latest version but I do have a bit newer dsres file that is about 6 months newer that had a few little update/fixes that must never have been packaged in. So here is the link to the latest dsres file as well. It will go into the dsabstraction folder install location (by default that is in C:\Program Files (x86)\DSAbstraction by default - Windows 7 64bit). AbstractionGemquest.dsres When clicking the link seems to want to open the file, just right click the link and save as the dsres.
Oh yeah if you want just the map file here is that too. AbstractionGemquest.dsmap Same thing as the dsres file, just right click the link and save as.
Thank you for the files. It certainly makes things soooo much more easier and expedient.
Abstraction is an EXCELLENT mod that has given me countless hours of wonderful gameplay.
I had the mod, but lost the dsres. I currently only have the map. Could someone please send the resource file?
