I'm going to be posting both here and at the Nexus and I was going to make a new topic but I figured since there's already a topic about Skyrim, however unrelated, it'll do. So, as a Skyrim player I have to admit I feel kind of on-my-own because there are... literally... NO Dungeon siege mods whatsoever that I have found and, believe you me, I have scoured the internet. So after doing some thinking I said, hey.. what if some of my friends at Siegetheday have Skyrim, what if they're looking for a project? It's a longshot, I know, but I've developed a short list of things from the DS universe I must see in Skyrim, sooner or later. Perhaps this would even be a fun collaboration effort, as I've been wanting to learn how to use the creation kit myself.
Taar Follower [Voiced?] (Priority one!)
Deru Follower [Voiced?]
Shield of Azunai
Amren Follower [Voiced?]
Drevin Follower [Voiced?] (Priority two!)
Sword of Zaramoth
Arhok village with NPC's, however simple or complex
Eirulan tree-village in Falkreath. No, I'm NOT satisfied with elvenwood, similar but a cheap rip off at best! Including Dryad NPC's including at LEAST Warden Celia (Yes, Dryads are my favorite and I like how they're portrayed in DS2 more than any other game)
DS2 Mercenary armor
Dungeon siege Music replacer, the main theme being the menu theme and dragon fight theme (Priority three!)
Dungeon siege Wildlife such as Gremals, Hak'u, Tragg [Friendly], Krug (Reskinned Orcs?), Morden and more.
DS2 Dryad Armor (Priority Four!)
Big wuvvable Lothar.
Farmgirl Follower [All cover versions] (Priority five!)
So please do inbox me about what you think is possible, what wouldn't be possible and... well, assuming any of you even have Skyrim, if you're willing to do it. Also yes, clearly, this wouldn't be made public until we fit all the rules for copyright... N' shit. This would be our own little secret. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1JKAyxk9cs
Edit: I just re-read this and maybe I shouldn't be posting this in the Nexus if it should be secret for the time being. xD
in order for this mod to be possible, firstly, it cannot distribute ds resources as part of the download for the mod. ds must already be installed on the user's machine. biddle has mentioned b4 that u can transfer resources from one version of ds to another but not into another game thats not ds.
and secondly, the user has to repackage the dsres and ds2res resources into the bsa format that skyrim uses or a script and the neccessary programs written and packaged as part of the mod to repackage the neccessary resources. this can be a very difficult and complex task.
thirdly, converting the models in ds for use in skyrim is also an unknown. if converting cannot be done then the ds models have to be built from scratch using 3d modelling software and then ported into skyrim which is also another colossal task.
u prolly need a team of at least half a dozen modders to pull this off. if u can get past all these huge stumbling blocks then yes such a mod wud be possible otherwise its just a subconscious thought. an inception.
I probably should have also specified that I didn't mean to say reusing DS2 resources but perhaps rebuilding them entirely in Skyrim. For example I didn't want rip the Dryad armor straight from the game but rather remake it entirely with the basic DS2 design in mind.
Edit: I figure this recreation wouldn't be too difficult and I have been looking into making meshes and textures so I can eventually figure this out on my own, but it would be nice to have some who already know what they're doing.

I recommend that you read the documentation for the each of the Dungeon Siege Games, because using the resources of Dungeon Siege outside of Dungeon Siege is forbidden. Therefore they can not be used in Skyrim. There are also a number of major differences between how things are built in Dungeon Siege and Skyrim so even if you could use Dungeon Siege resources in Skyrim a direct transfer would be almost impossible. You would have to do the meshes and textures from scratch. There may be someone willing to help you with this but because of restrictions within the EULA you would have to make sure that the textures you use where enough different that they could not be construed as a copy of anything in Dungeon Siege.
