No, there is no need to do so... Plus (as a general rule) if someone else has similar problems threads can be re-used.
PS. Please leave forum cleanup / moderation to site staff... Thanks.
Shutting up
:dunce:
I find closing threads can make people feel unwelcome. Also as Sharkull, if someone else has a similar problem they can use the same thread instead of starting a new one which saved space in the forum db.
But... The question's been answered....
When a topic has been closed, it is still open to public viewing. So people can still find it...
NEVERMIND LETS DROP IT I DON'T WANT TO GET INTO TROUBLE
Just cause the problem has been solved doesn't mean someone can't a simplier/better way to do it though.
I think its more annoying to have people post in the wrong threads, then to have a large page size.
I think that the decision to close the thread is up to the moderators, not you.
Split and moved to keep the other topic clean.
Thanks Wyv... I would have if you didn't beat me to it.
Topics only get closed if there is a reason. The question "being answered" is not necessarily the end of a thread's life. Follow on questions / comments which are on topic within an existing thread are always welcome... that's what these forums are for.
If you want an easy way to know if a thread has come to resolution I'm afraid you'll just have to read...
