Unfortunately nothing really important was discussed. Granted some minor questions were answered, but major questions asked by modders were ignored seemingly. And TAS, most of your questions were answered at the Broken World website.

One of my unanswered questions was if they liked my custom texture, and a link to picture of it.
Athough, now that I look at that question, it actually sounds rather comical. :?
I think this maybe the end for dungeon siege series here, looks like this is just a another example of EA. Push out a game that barely makes it through lab tests and sell it for $50-60 so they get money and leave the customers hanging... :?

well i dont think the 50 dollars i paid for ds2 was wasted, out of the box it worked fine, they cant help it mods dont work with it, that wasnt the reason they sold the game in the first place... nor will the 29 bucks i spend on bw be wasted, as the thrill of playing the game is all i care about really, i can worry about the mods working or not later....
they left hints at the chat that the engine is expandable, so dont be surprised if DS3 is out next year. they said they were working on another project, even though its probably SupCom (which they have been working on for a long time too), im sure Chris Taylor wont leave his rpg game alone to long. They are moving in the right direction with the new content, but they still need to figure a better solution for the crc for them to gain the following back that ds1 had. But that can only happen in DS3 as its too late for DS2 now. I am betting there will be enuff bug reports in BW the first week that there will be a patch posted in the first 2 weeks. If not then, they are hurting their own selves.

Thats your own opinion and that fine for you. But...
Modsâs not working is some what their fault because the game wasn't designed to be modded, they are taking a shortcuts because their lazy or they just want to push out as many games as possible in a year to gain profit. If this game was meant to be modded then you would see one or two tools packaged in the game cd to edit it and not have to use 4or 5 tools.
Example: Epic Games and the unreal serials all come with UnrealED, a mapping, modeling, and programming(animation) tool all in one that doesn't need a separate .exe (DS2Mod.exe) to run, you can click one button to test your mod that launches the retail game.
To me the dropped hints sounded like they were going to add another xpack to DS2... That would explain the lack of modding support: they might want more of a market for their add-ons. :?
Any game that has released a worthwhile expansion adds content AND fixes issues with gameplay. Just adding slightly more content doesn't justify more than a 50% price increase -- I purchased DS2 when I was in the states, and the total after taxes at Best Buy wasn't much more than 50$. Another 30$ for 'up to 15 hrs of gameplay' is laughable.
gah I was gonna do that
Yes, thanks FB.
I wonder what they mean by "conditional monsters"...
I wish that they would have adressed ALL of the questions that people sent in, They only answered 3 of my 6 questions. :?

I wonder if this compliment for modder work was actually based on DS1 (with tons of artistic content released over the years) or DS2 mods (...?).

So? I paid 15$ for a 6 hour episode/mini-expansion of Half-Life 2.....
LoL episode 2 was a waste.
