This mod allows the player to enter next difficulty levels (Veteran, Elite) without character level requirement, skips the tutorial part, activates most teleport locations, increases experience gain and gold/magic find with two new nature spells, and gives +9 skill points identical to quest completion. Created primarily for testing purposes.
Details:
1. Skip Tutorial Part: After replying at the first Morden door guard conversation, the temple movie starts and the player teleport to Eirulan.
2. Allow next difficulty and Teleport locations: After the first cut scene in the Eirulan prison, the player automatically able to enter the next Broken World map, and gets all teleport locations activated.
Broken World expansion: Talk with "Kerth of the F & K society" NPC, and choose the first option "1. I found a tablet...".
3. Added 2 new nature spells, available to buy at all Magic Shopkeepers:
Experience Embrace: Gives a huge experience gain boost when killing enemy creatures.
Gift of Magic: Greatly increases gold drop amount, and rare/unique item drop chance.
4. Bonus skill points: When the player speaks to any Necromancer (Corpse Summoner NPC, found near teleporters) without a corpse, automatically gain +9 skill points from quests (only once per difficulty).
How to Install:
- Put the "Sanzy-SkipDifficulty.ds2res" file into "2K Games\Dungeon Siege 2 Broken World\resources" folder. |

An interesting mod for those that are tired of getting killed I myself do not cheat to that extent lol
An interesting mod for sure Sanzy, as for getting killed elfy, the DSS2 devs didn't want the players getting killed that's why they made it so easy, my three girls are at the last teleporter in Windstone Fortress and no ones been close to being killed yet, I've had my melee fighter Suki knocked unconscious on the Morden Towers quest quite a few times but she was a weakling then, but not anymore.
Next loadup I'll be doing Feldwyrs quest, the Family Heirloom quest and the Xerias Temple quest and that's every quest done that can be done, then its onwards to the giant trilisk.
Glad to receive your feedback. To be more accuarate, I created this mod for testing the characters at higher levels in the first place, make it accessible at all, and easily achievable. Could not find any other mod do the same, unfortunately. But referring to normal gameplay, you not have to fully abuse this mod benefits for game progress, just to a certain extent (not use the spells, teleports, or bonus skill points for example).
PS: Feel free to share, forward my mod (to other sites for example), more players could get it this way.
