I've noticed that the Forge is down right now... I remember reading a couple days ago that they were going to do a server move, so it's not entirely unexpected, but does anyone have any more details on what's happening (timing, is there a new URL...)? Just curious. forums: |

Firebat would probably be the one with more information, but OC left a shout in the shoutbox saying the move was occuring this weekend. I hope it goes smoothly for him.

The site is moving to a new host and should be back on-line soon.
EDIT: I just remembered the last time I said a website should be back soon it never came back so I don't know how soon it will be back...

It is 1 AM EST and I just checked the Forge. Looks like the move has been completed, so that's cool.

Good news.
Hmm, I don't know if this has anything to do with the move or not. I was able to log in to the Forge with no problems earlier, but have not been able to at all this evening. I keep getting a weird screen when I attmpt it, and that has happened several times. Like, am I banned? :P

I can get to the Forge, and read it as a guest browser, but I can't seem to log on (just takes me to a separate login screen, which doesn't work either). Hopefully the user database hasn't been corrupted, and it's something easy to fix...
There are still some small issues, but we will fix everything as soon as possible..
Again my apologies for all the wackiness during the server move... Herena Forge is now on a Virtual Private Server, instead of shared hosting. This means I had to install a linux operating system on a remote computer and configure all the server software myself. Needless to say this became quite complicated as there are about five separate websites that I am maintaining with this server! I was having some memory allocation issues, but I think they are now resolved. (crosses fingers and knocks on wood)
