I'm not a major user of pack animals, so I never used the Gikk in LoH. Does it get a pile of stuff on its back when it's loaded, like the mule does? I tried to make a Pack Rat (and a Pack Ox) for Abstraction at one time, but it never worked right. If the Gikk does it, I may go revisit that idea.

sorry, ghastley - unfortunately the creature doesn't get the pack growth that the mule does..
- it has the same size inventory though, which is very useful in LOH
as there's so much loot about, and it's a pity to leave it behind..

- also, guards sometimes let pack animals go unchallenged, which is useful for getting the loot to some of the harder-to-reach stores,
I get my CHR to open doors and operate lifts first, by using an invisibilty spell..

- it's a clever game in that respect - lots of different ways to play it out..
