New members, introduce yourself here and say "Hi"

Hi: I thought this might be a place for new people to just make a quick stop and say hello to other members. No one is obligated to post, but if you are new, please consider at least saying hello. So to get the ball rolling, I am Kathy. You can "see" me hanging around the site in various threads. Now remember, I want this to be a thread for introductory stuff, not commenting on how people do or do not post here at StheD. Thanks! forums: |

Hi tuan / istvand.
Feel free to start a new topic in the appropriate forum (DS2 General or DS2 Gameplay) to ask your questions. I hope you find the answers you're looking for.
Yes, welcome to our happy little community, istvand.
hi all
im not a member yet but thinking about it.
today i do have a question that i have not found anywhere online. Has anyone played seige on a multi monitor system? Im currently using a hp laptop and have the desktop extended into a 2nd monitor, how can i play the game on both monitors (if all possible :dance1: )
I have seen a sight that said that a patch has fixed multi monitor problem, at the same time Microsoft says it is not possible
so i hope someone could help
thanks
Sorry trafficdemon, but I have never played on a multi-monitor so I am clueless.
I'm guessing the "fixed multi monitor problem" would be related to not being able to play on a dual-monitor setup at all. As far as I'm aware, a game needs to be programmed for use on more than one monitor and I'm almost positive that the DS games weren't developed with this in mind.
I use a dual-monitor setup, and it's possible to play on either, but not both. There's an ini file setting for which display it uses.
The game will set the resolution on the display it runs on if you play full-screen, but I usually play windowed, so that I have the other monitor usable.
Ok, I could understand that now, just because it says that it fixed a dual monitor problem doesn't mean that it could be played as dual monitors (I'm sorry the light was on but nobody was home)
thanks to all for making me open my eyes, but some times one needs that lil bit
thanks

I made a login to this site long ago, but this is the first time I decided to actually speak here. My name is Drake and I've been modding Dungeon Siege since I was a wee-lad. I was wondering if there is anyone I can talk to about this game and maybe share some info with. My only knowledge is that of modding DSLOA, but I do know a lot and with my knowledge and effort I think I could be of help to make the game more fun than it usually is. I actually play it a lot from time to time, so I'm open to multiplayer hosting. Please, if you see this post contact me and let's chat it up for awhile, maybe we can share ideas.
Welcome and happy you have joined our little community of modders and players. We can always use help with making mods, testing mods.If you have Dungeon Siege 2 you might be interested in looking at the maps we have converted from DS1 to DS2. Check out the forums. I personally mod mostly weapons and armor. I also test other mods for people. Again we welcome you :elf:

There is no point it is all a dream someday I will wake and really screem wishing I was back in this strange little dream.
Welcome to SiegetheDay or yadehtegeiS depending if you are standing in Elddim or not. The community who hangs their hat here can use some ideas and mods to give the old games some new style. There is some amazing work being done here. Check out the forums on modding LoA DS2 and Broken world some really cool stuff there.
I'll be sure to check out the forums, I'm very interested in working with everyone. I usually deal in balancing mods or adding more flavor to mods already released. And I'm VERY intrigued about DS1 maps being converted to DS2, I didn't know it was possible. I'll be glad to create or test any modifications within my abilities.
Hello everyone, I'm an admin of the dungeon siege society at russian equivalent of facebook (vkontakte) and, aparently, a mod seeker *_*

Hi I'm SeriousToni and played Dungeon Siege first when I was very young. I liked it a lot and I still play DS 2 today.
I was really pissed off by "Dungeon Siege" 3 which made me go rage on the developers and the publisher. If you want you can join my Steam Group called "Dungeon Siege 3 is NOT Dungeon Siege". Meet you there
