Do we get to see these stats, (or a user list) on the new setup? I can't find anything like that, but I keep looking in the wrong places for most stuff, so it might just be where I'm not looking.

The user list appears to be an admin function, but you might be able to see the recent new members (front page, lower right side menu), and their user number can give you an idea of the count (now over 500).

The who's new box doesn't show any numbers, nor do the name links. Must be admin-only.

I just got curious because I'd looked for the "Send a PM link" and not seen one, then I thought I'd just find a list of names and click on the right one, but ended up deciding not to bother. It appears that you have to find a post by a user in order to locate them, so a "are you still around?" PM could involve a lot of detective work! And doing the detective work answers the original question, and you don't need the PM anyway. Insane

Well, the Who's New box shows names as links to me, and each link is to a numbered page for the user (the same as if you click on someone's avatar).

Finding users can be done using the site's search feature... just click the "users" tab, and do a keyword search for names. Hmmm... that gave me an idea, and currently searching for * gives a full user list too (not sure if this is an intended function or not).

I thought the default memberlist that comes with Drupal isn't feature rich enough to be useful but I can add it to the menu if you want to.
