Today at midnight something totally unexpected happened.. It was suddenly December! It's crazy, but where has the time gone? Seems like it was November just yesterday! :jawdrop: forums: |

Oh gosh... December already?
I have no idea where the time went but I like the pussy :P.
I don't know what you're talking about... it's still November here (for another 12 minutes ).
Time does fly though. Winter is only a few weeks away! Nooooooooo!!!!
Already December!?
Haha... that's why i'am beyond time and space.
...now you will get sockets for your souls.
"Away"? We've had winter for several months now.. Sun goes up around 8.50 am or so and sets around 2 pm. Darkness is our legacy.. Atleast we have the snow to brighten things up a bit..
KillerGremal, that's a scary Santa you've found.
Ah yes, I just passed through Glacern and saw that they have experianced their first snow...
Time to buy some of that "fur lined breastplate" from the smith there
It's stuck at Halloween where I'm playing! Charietto is promising part two real soon now...
Silly Solly... I said winter not cold and darkness (it's been a bit chilly here recently too). Winter is when the days actually start to get longer again. Every hear of the Winter Solstice? :P It's when the :sun: is farthest from us in the Northern hemisphere. Considering your name here, I thought you'd know that. :silly:
Halloween, on the other hand, hasn't been experienced by me yet (too busy with real life stuff right now). Perhaps by the time the holidays roll around I'll have a chance to dust off my DS disks and venture into the haunted lands :nervous:.
So you don't call it winter until after winter solstice? I call it winter when there is snow.
I do continually set new records in silliness, but that is my thing.
No, no, you are both totally wrong!
Since thousends of years numerous religions define the beginning of winter when cats start to look like this:
Correct... perhaps the season names are determined differently in your part of the world (making all Swedes as silly as Solly... :P ) ? :? In Canada:
Winter = winter solstice until the vernal equinox. Spring = vernal equinox until the summer solstice. Summer = summer solstice until autumnal equinox. Fall / autumn = autumnal equinox until winter solstice. Lather rinse and repeat... In Toronto, the weather seems to usually go along with these seasonal demarcations too, making things match up nicely. Snow in November is extremely rare, and in December there usually isn't much. The big dumpings here usually occur in Jan. / Feb. and sometimes (rarely) in March.
As for the kitty way of determining the change of seasons, I'm afraid that wouldn't work for me KG. The only cat I know is my sister's, and "Precious" is an indoor kitty staying inside a nice cozy condo so she never has occasion to dress like in your pic.
Side note: my sister hasn't read LoTR, nor has she seen any of the movies. When she does, I think her choice of that name for her kitty cat might be reconsidered... :P
Who are you calling your precious?
...or "What are you calling your precious"... (because Gollum's Precious was an inanimate object)? :P
^^
Maybe he considers one of us an inanimate object?
But.....
All animals are so cute and precious.
There can one be one conclusion to that: He's calling me His precious! :P
And the conclusion from this newspost could be that mixing silly swedes and crazy dutch people will result is some very strange results..
Getting back to the original topic, we had our first snowfall of the season last night. One whole inch.
I don't know.. I think only beauty and sanity can come from such a combination. ^^
Volkan, congrats. Here it started to rain and almost all snow is gone now.. what is left is ice.
