Erm, I love cats...as I love most animals. But, cats most assuredly are predators, so I am afraid I must disagree with you about their being dangerous, TAS. I was clawed in the face by one of our cats when I was little (she was feeling cranky and protective, it really wasn't her fault...I was trying to pet her babies). Actually I suppose the danger is relative to size. Just ask a mouse or a bird if they think cats are dangerous. Wink I must also disagree about the toilet thing. Several cats that I have had really like drinking out of the toilet, yet I never had a dog who did so. I keep the lid down because I am afraid Stanley is going to get caught in there, and drown. That would be horrid.

@Sharkull, yea, Kitty warms my legs. But at his size his body covers most of my legs all together, and he is so freakin' heavy! Laughing out loud

I hate to sound cliched, but the way you raise a dog really does affect it's temperment. Some breeds are more aggresive than others, yes, but still. My dog Dillon is mostly pitbull with a little german shepard in him as well. He is about 75 pounds and is a fairly large dog, although not huge. When I got Stanley as a kitten (about 8 weeks old) Dillon used to lay down on the floor on his side and the cat would climb all over the dog, yanking on his ears and biting him. Just rough housing and playing, like a normal kitten. Dillon just laid there and allowed it, encouraged it even. Stanley used to attack that big waggy tail as it thumped on the floor. I wish I had a videocamera back then, I would have loved to have that recorded that.
