So, what do you think? Is this a good thing to bring back old games with new colors? Or is it just a marketing technique to squeeze us of an extra sixty bucks? Is buying one of these remakes a rip off or a good time?
I think it's a bit of both. Bringing older games to an audience that may have missed them years ago is great, not to mention the fun nostalgia factor for other fans.
I don't think the idea is necessarily a "rip-off" but it seems to make sense from a money making standpoint. A company can have the goal to please customers (since happy customers buy stuff) and also make money. Nothing wrong with that, I think, although 30 plus dollars is too much for my wallet.
