Me and my brother tried playing Mageworld in multiplayer but we kept getting error massage: The selected game is not compatible or something.
So I tried connecting game on normal DS1 and also in LOA version, but I still get the same message, so the problem isn't the Mageworld itself. I removed all the mods despite they were inactive at the time. It didn't help.
All the possible issues I can think of is that one of computers has Win 7, while the other one has Win XP. Is there a possible incompatibility?
Also, since I have only one gameplay CD, I cracked the game on one of them. I have noticed that cracked version does not support DS MOD and DS LOA MOD, so is it possible it affects the multiplayer as well? Most recently, in desperate attempt to make games compatible, I used crack on both machines, so that they have the same EXE file, and yet it didn't help.
Can anyone think of any solution?
