There isn't much activity nor discussion going on for DS1 because I think alot of people don't play it anymore ( I do ) and I have avoided the DS2 threads because I did not own DS2 until a few days ago and I didn't want to accidently see a spoiler. ( Well, I knpow I wouldn't because of warnings, but you can't discuss a game you don't play...)
I am not a modder (the armor mod I posted on only featured ideas and designs by me as well as Bare_elf and all the "modding" work on that is done by her.) I enjoy DS very much and like being here in the community, but how much can one post on DS? That is why there is off-topic threads, I guess. As Sharkull says, it keeps the forums busy and alive.
I belong to a literature forum, but we don't discuss Shakespeare or the Brontes all day long. The general chat (off topic chat plus games) are the busiest parts of that forum.
