I've been increasingly involved this summer with the other (cat-herding, as the elf calls it) end of life, peaking this week just gone with moving said cat, er, aunt into a cattery. Peaking rather than culminating, because besides seeing her happily settled in (as happily as she can be, in the circumstances) there is still her house I have to look after and sell. It is 150 to 180 minutes' drive each way and there is no internet there. (Could be arranged now, but...)
