I was looking forward to playing this great game again. Damn it, I was going to go through the entire campaign this summer! And now some god-forsaken resource error dares bar my path?

I'm on my knees, here. I need help.

Why not just uninstall smartesecure?

Or, try running a search with everything enabled searching for this maligerant "smartesecure". If you find it, delete it, or even better, put it through a file shredder program to PERMANENTLY termanate it, so it cannot be resurected through any means. Do this for anything you see that for that program. If it resists, then you know that it is a problem and you should order your antivirus software to quarantine it at once.
