Thanks for the compliment. The texture for that first wolf is actually balls of fluffy yarn, hehe.
I mostly use Photofiltre, I have both the 6 and the 7 versions and they work nice for texturing. They can open psd but can't save to it, so I also use the gimp and Xnview. BTW, I just discovered something about the default Windows picture viewer. Normally I turn up my nose at stuff like that, but it actually has some cool filters. One of the gargoyles was modified with photofiltre and then I used a filter from the windows viewer. It's the pinkish beige one.
I'm kind of in texture mode right now, I enjoy coming up with new stuff. Well, "newish" anyway.
