First let me say welcome to our site. Follow DarkElf's instructions. But to help us all out please give answers to the following questions so we can do more research and give better advice.

1. What version of Windows are you using?
2. Are you installing from a CD/DVD or some other method like Steam?
3. Have you patched DS2 to version 2.2 before installing Broken World which is version 2.3.
4. What Anti-Virus program are you using?
5. Do you have any mods installed in the DS2 Resources folder. If you do list them

We will try our very best to get Broken World up and running again.
