2.0 has to be installed prior to the 2.2 patch which is just an executable it asks for the ds2 cd however so keep it around. the patch be ran from wherever u put it(although windows likes to save files to desktop for some reason, or it may have went to a designated download folder) the patch just looks for the ds2 installation and patches it to 2.2. after it installs may want to run ds2 to see if it works, if lucky then can try installing broken world, and hopefully it will be ok.
