I'm sorry about the double-posting, but this little applet really is good.. so good in fact, it needs a ghost-elf to sing it's praises..

- you know, most people tune their monitors by eye - to suit their own preferences..
- and we generally accept the coloration automatically provided by printers and scanners, etc..
- but you really have no idea if, say, the green is really as green as was originally intended by the source program..

With this little applet, you can be assured that the colours on your screen are as they should be - according to an internationally agreed standard

- you just need to get the ICC colour profile from your monitor manufacturer's site, and add it to the list in the applet.. then set it as default..

I believe that Microsoft intend to use it as part of Vista (- the new operating system, planned for release in a year or two..) - but the version provided in the above link is for XP users as well..
