I do not own a mp3 player either, but it makes it much easier to listen to whatever I want to on my computer. I have good speakers with my computer and I use it like a jukebox when I am doing stuff on the computer, pretty much for anything including when playing games. I have about 125gb of music files, though I could probably get rid of a good 50gb that I never listen to and probably wont ever listen to, and then I can set up very large diverse playlists. I sometimes run things in order but many times set a big list to random.
