I've loaded my mod of Myros mod again: Naidi is in there and Zed isn't. I guess I'd no use for a low level nature mage, so gave Naidi another outing despite being my one paid-for choice in KoE. All my recruits are in or around Elddim, and have GPG-derived names, except my Andiemus-alike is called Myros, and my dwarf combat mage isn't there - must be in Crystwind, with one of the dwarf names.

So did you have to add in dialogue for the characters? That goes in the map-conversations I think? What about the NPCs who cost gold, did you leave that the same? I tried to alter that in the Myros mod, since I hate spending money but then I couldn't get any of them to interact with me.

I just used Myros' pseudo-conversation for hiring, and kept stats, including gold price to hire, the same as the KoE prototypes'. That way I could progressively enlarge my party but could not afford to hire NPCs until my main character was nearer their level. Elia (Ulora) was the only free one, able to handle several Krug scouts at once but not invincible. Especially without body armor, just light boots (df 0), basic leather gloves and the plain brown version of the soft cap.

I forgot to say that the previous game of the Myrosmap had to be cancelled as we 4 were getting out missiled by every thing past the Crystwind mines, I'm still not sure that 2 melee, 2 archers and a nature mage can handle those mobs, Oh yeah and we all kicked the bucket in the flooded sanctuary, I knew then that I needed another archer.

Flooded sanctuary? That should be long after Crystwind. After coming through PART of the mines, from Hovart's place to Crystwind, did you go south next, turn right into a cave, come out in a forest, and find the sanctuary on your left? If so you'd taken a short cut into areas meant to be way above your level.
