Is there a mod around to make party members drink life and mana potions automatically (once a certain threshold is reached)?

I'm trying a goofy idea: playing multiplayer on my two computers, with one low-level member (on one machine) following my high-level hero (on the other machine). The high-level hero is there just to heal the newbie and provide added attack if a mob develops (or resurrect if things get out of hand). Other than that, she stays out of the way while newbie gains levels rather quickly. Sort of like "bring your child to work day". Works well, except when newbie is using magic with no easy way for my hero to replenish him. I believe I could use Mana Channel, but seems a waste with all those mana potions being dropped.

I saw an old post that included something like that, a great big compilation of mods called "Dungeon Siege Tactics". Many ideas proposed, but it never saw the light of day (perhaps from lack of interest).

Or... maybe I should just roll up my sleeves and make that mod...
