I don't know what "Dungeon Siege in Space" really means. Obviously the engine features will mean that the basics (eg. character movement / combat and how conversations / quests work) will be very similar to DS2. Heavily modify the UI to a more spacey theme, and make the map environments non-leafy :P / more like the insides of a space ship. Make some minor changes (like renaming "mana" to something similar to "bio-mechanical energy" or "suit fuel", changing the enchanting system to modify the character's cyborgness or the robot pet's features...) and you're half-way there.

Hmm. I'm just now realizing that "fog" doesn't fit well into a space ship theme... I wonder how frustrum size will be limited without it (or if they'll ignore the issue, using dark shadows / smoke in the distance as an explanation for this engine necessity...). :?
