Topic says it all, just try getting on the site. You will see a window that says: Quote:

Looks like the siegeworks.org domain finally expired too.
Main page and forums are working fine for me. Perhaps you visited at a time when the webhost server was rebooting the computer the site is hosted on or they were applying updates to the computer.
I was visiting last night when the SN database seemed to disappear (wait a long time before an Invision error stating that the DB was unavailable...). Things seem to be back to normal now.

I wish this would stop happening, it frightens me every time it does.
I keep popping in there - but by general consensus it seems it's days are numbered... sjr is the man in the know..
I've taken the precaution of saving some of Xaa's articles on modding - it might be wise to scour the archives for the treasures worth preserving...
Smart move.
*Does the same*.
Has anyone officially contacted Witness (or anyone else) about off-loading some of that treasure to another site...like this one?
Some of that stuff is irreplaceable, I would think.
My feeling is that DS1 is going to be around in some way, shape or form. DS2 won't survive without a boost of the creativity and enthusiasm that was evident in the DS1 community for so long.
Hmm. What ever happened to Witness? I know she left, as I was a part of Siege Network for 4 years. But - Where did she leave to?
Perhaps she returned to the lonely basement dungeon of Castle Ehb, continuing to mutate farmboys and farmgirls into elves, then selling them to King Konreid.
Most likely. Definately, now that I think of it.
SN is still not working for me so if anyone did this and has time I would realy appreciate it if some one would email me the articles at
