aranna legacy mod links

hey guys! I'm new, so have no idea where to post this, or if anyone is still around to reply. I'd like to get the ds2 mod to play dungeon siege maps but can not get the utraean legacy files(?) which have the main files u need (only the other links like kingdom of ehb from a followup mod work). Can anyone email attach them, if possible, or direct me to a not-dead-archive. I really like this game (though i found it recently). Ps. If anyone can also email me the autocast mod for ds1/loa id be even more grateful (apparently all links are dead). I'm even willing to re-mail them to any other users in need since i visit the forum regularly, though i have slow net so uploads may only be weekly on request! forums: |

it said Access denied HTTP 403 (Forbidden). I can't download almost all mod, except all*save (guess because it in another forum?)
do you have solution or do you have mirror link?

I tried downloading the Aranna Legacy mod and that worked fine. I'm not entirely sure which files you are having problems with though.
The link works okay for me using Firefox, Opera, Explorer. It should be noted that if you have tank viewer or DS2 tool kit installed on your computer your browser might give you the choice to either download a DS2RES file or open it with tank viewer. I always pick download because opening a large DS2RES file over the Internet can cause all kinds of issues and take forever to get the file and then you have to retank it anyway.
Well, I think some time ago the web space hoster rigorously banned whole IP ranges by default (mainly from Asia/Russia) due to continuous DoS attacks and other hack attempts.
I never pursued that more seriously, but maybe I can refine these defaults.
To do this however I guess I need to know the (first numbers) of the client's IP.

Leocreed, I was able to download all the files without issue using Firefox and Opera, I did not try any other browser. So what browser are you using and where are you downloading from (country). You only need DS1 Content Pack 10l(13.5mb) as it replaces all previous versions. I will look into getting you the file some other way.
I've tried with both firefox and google chrome.
ps: i'm in Nairobi,Kenya(Africa)...
also with chrome it tells me access denied. Is this relevant?
Assumed your IP is part of a banned IP range then the type of browser has no influence.
I don't know your IP, and I'm generally not sure if I could fix/bypass this matter, so right now you only seems to be able to access the mods with help of a proxy server/service. Do a web search once with the words 'proxy' and 'surfing' - maybe you will find a server allowing this procedure.
Or someone can upload them to my server to host them from there. :P
Let me know (email is best since I'm horrible about checking the forums) if I need to grab the files and upload them myself.

man, i'm so impressed that even i'm getting responses from this forum. Thanks for being there guys however this turns out. I've recently just travelled cause of new year's comin and wont be able to check the forum for about a month, but all the same, thanks to u guys for stickin around. Its always nice to know the classics aren't dead... (like i said i'm getting into classics; a bit like torchlight with wulf pack mod, which i'm playing alongside this).
