beware of the latest NVIDIA WHQL 320.18 drivers

if you are using a 400 or 500 series card from nvidia, u are strongly advised NOT to use this latest driver as nvidia made yet (another) nasty mistake in their driver and messed up the vcore voltage control during idle and load states for the 400 and 500 series cards. this would cause too much voltage being applied to your card and thus killing it.

thanks, uses a 430, normally I keep up to date drivers, especially lately paranoia was even getting the beta drivers.

this article and the fact I am on dialup now, means I can skip this driver.

hmm I wonder if NVidia would give me a new 2gb card if this card got killed.... oh well just a thought
