Is Magic Find Shared By All Party Members?

I've been wondering how magic find is handled in parties. Does it get shared among the party or the party member who gets the kill?

The highest value/sum will count, so concentrate all MF items on one party member - as unusual this may be.

Seems fitting that Deru be the one loaded with all those buffs for magic find, doesn't it? xD

Thanks Gremal. I think that's an odd way to do it, but it's way better than it being individualized.
