Grim Dawn

So, there's this early access game on steam named Grim Dawn, and I couldn't help but notice that the art style is pretty similar to Dungeon Siege. What do you think? I'd get it if I had the money, but unfortunately I am completely broke. forums: |

This is most definitely a throwback to Diablo. In fact, I'd say It looks like the next step that Diablo SHOULD have taken. The glimmer and glam of the 3D graphics, with the overall look and feel of Diablo II.
Now, that said, the color palette is VERY reminiscent of Dungeon Siege II, to me. The gameplay clip I watched showed a fellow killing some snake-looking-folk on a beach, and it looked like a re-imagining of the beaches of Greilyn Isle in Diablo II's style.
So to me, it looks like Diablo II with Dungeon Siege II's graphics and colors (albeit amped up a bit, it's been about a decade). So it's like.. the best from both worlds, and I adore it.
Although I definitely think I'd be playing this with you if I, too, had any money. xD
It's this picture that reminds me most of Dungeon Siege.

Looking at that picture, now I NEED to get that game!
I got the game (along with 21 others)! It's definitely worth purchasing, though achievement and online isn't yet implemented.
