Debugging Tool For Dungeon Siege... or how to read .DSLOG and .CRASH Files?

I'm sure this has been covered before, but my inept detecting skills have left me unable to find a thread...

So to start off, I've jumped back into modding in Dungeon Siege after taking a long break, and I've just begun work on this map and mod. I've encountered a few errors and been able to work around them, but a couple times an 'exception detected' error throws itself at me, and all I can really seem to do is to close the program. I'm currently using the DSLOAMod to run and test the map itself, and I've been able to find the crash files in the Dungeon Siege Legends of Aranna folder, but when I open the DSLOG file, it appears hex code pops up (or something like that anyway).

So I'm wondering, is there any way to get a debugger for Dungeon Siege, or at least one that works with the Dungeon Siege Editor? Or is there any way to read the code that is deposited into the DSLOG and CRASH files themselves?

Any help (or reply) whatsoever is appreciated! Thanks!
