For NVIDIA Graphics card users

garthagain's picture

When I installed DS2 on my new Windows 10 machine, with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 graphics card, I found that the Nvdia Control Panel (where you set Anistropic filtering, etc.) did not work properly. It did a great job with the characters and objects, but did not recognize the terrain (nodes). It looked God awful. I did some research and found the Nvidia Profile Inspector.
I used this to set the graphics for the DS games got the best graphics possible with the games. It has many complex and obscure settings not available on the control panel, and also a long list of games and their optimal settings.
